Job description


Our client seeks to hire a motivated, disciplined, and problem-solving team member to lead and grow their Nashville-area operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to help build and grow a business around them and to be rewarded for their efforts and success. The role will be hands-on, so it will require someone who is not only comfortable working with their hands, but also meeting with customers and overseeing daily facility operations.

The primary focus of this role will be:


1) Operations (20%): Overseeing and/or performing pick-ups, deliveries, cutting wood, constructing crates, purchasing raw materials, and providing any other needed elbow grease to make our Nashville location successful!


2) Customer Support (20%): Supporting existing customers through project coordination, shipping updates, and quoting new work.


3) Business Development/Sales (15%): Seeking out sales opportunities with prospective customers and projects that align with our capabilities.


4) Estimating/Quoting (25%): Learning our internal estimation processes and being able to provide pricing to existing and prospective customers by seeking out the needed data through phone calls, emails, and on-site measurements.


5) Project Management (20%): We solve complex logistics problems and we need someone who can plan the work and work the plan.


Prospective candidates should have some or all of the following skills/experience/traits (in order of priority):


- Motivated, coachable, growth-oriented, dependable, disciplined, trustworthy, and humble


- Excellent attention to detail and takes great pride in work


- Above-average math skills and ability to calculate fractions, percentages, and margin


- Construction (framing or carpentry) experience


- Quoting or estimation experience


- Can lift at least 50 pounds and in great physical shape for hard but rewarding work


- Can read and understand detailed written instructions, including a tape measure


- Driver's license


Not required:


- Veterans


- Previous experience with a miter saw, panel saw, and nail guns


- Enjoyment of helping customers with solving their problems


- Experience reading CAD drawings


- Experience with 3-D and 4-D CNC Routers


- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)


Benefits include: Paid time off, health insurance (50% company-paid), dental insurance, vision insurance, and 401(k).

Compensation: $75K-$90K base salary + performance-based bonus.
