Job description

Overview

Responsible for recruiting, training, and advising construction contractors engaged in the installation of metal buildings, metal roofing and all other products manufactured and/or sold by Mueller. Duties include monitoring jobs in progress for timeliness and customer satisfaction. This position will also have responsibility for performing job site measurements/estimates, assisting with installation challenges, and resolving customer complaints including warranty issues.

This is a remote position responsible for the Eastern region - covering parts of Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Mississippi.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and oversee the contractor selection, qualification, training, and referral program including the customer site visit, inspection and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and oversee the end user/customer support program for all products including installation techniques, design manuals, and technical assistance. Assist in the development, application testing, and construction methods of new products.
  • Oversee and improve department productivity through employee development.
  • Monitor and contribute to the quality control program and resolve manufacturing errors, material quality, warranty claims, and shipping damage.
  • Manage and oversee the sales training program including pre-fab building erection, roof installation, roof, and trim quote tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience as a contractor in the building or housing industry. Experience with construction methods required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and roofing plans.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to professionally resolve problems, issues and concerns.
  • Detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Sufficient personal computer and business software application use capabilities required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
  • This job is 100% remote based, must be able to travel regularly throughout the assigned region.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hire-in salary is $74,200. Company vehicle provided. Annual bonus opportunity of 0 - 15%.
