Job description

My client, a 200+ bed healthcare facility located in TN in the middle between Nashville and Knoxville has a need for Radiology Techs to join their team.

We have 4 open Full-Time Radiologic Technologist positions (shifts below). The pay range is $22.14-$30.79/hr., depending on experience as to where they fall at within the pay range.

o Saturday/Sunday 5:30a-6p, Monday 8:30p-7a
o Week 1: Mon/Tues 8:30a-9p, Sun 6a-6:30p - Week 2: Thur/Fri 8:30a-9p, Sat 6a-6:30p
o Thur/Fri 10:30a-11p, Sat 9a-9:30p
o Tuesday-Friday 7:30p-6a
Shift Differentials are as follows:
o $1.15 (if work 4 or more hours between 3p-11p)
o $1.65 (if work 4 or more hours between 11p-7a)
o $3.00 (weekends- if work between 11p Friday night to 7a Monday morning)
o $4.00 (holidays)
We also offer a sign on bonus or loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation (with terms):
2+ years experience- $7,500 sign on bonus -OR- up to $3,500 loan forgiveness with a 2 year contract post orientation

This position is responsible for working directly with patients and assisting radiologists and/or staff physicians while administering x-rays in the course of radiological examinations in concordance with physician orders. The radiologic technologist shall be capable of operating radiologic equipment, perform a variety of radiological procedures, operate the picture archiving system, use radiographic supplies including contrast while providing patient care and patient safety as established by department standards. This position is responsible for performing a variety of basic clerical and housekeeping functions such as examination and work area cleaning, telephone communications, computer system data entry, information retrieval (HIS, RIS, PACS), and infection control.

The level I technologist shall be competent in the following areas: general radiography, routine fluoroscopy including barium studies, portable and emergent trauma radiography, radiographic technique formulation, radiographic quality control and basic surgical radiographic procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology. AAS or BS in Radiologic Sciences preferred.
Registered with the ARRT.
Two years of Clinical experience in an ARRT accredited radiologic technology program. Additional on the job experience is preferred.
