Overview:

The Pediatric / Fetal Cardiovascular Sonographer independently performs professional level assessments and a variety of non- invasive studies using ultrasound and related diagnostic technology as appropriate and records the results and clinical preliminary impressions as indicated.

Responsibilities:
Greater Nashville Maternal-Fetal Medicine is celebrating more than 15 years of patient care for women with complicated pregnancies in Middle Tennessee. We are a group of specialists, sometimes called perinatologists or high-risk obstetricians, with training in obstetrics and gynecology and an in-depth understanding of pregnancy complications and treatments.
Present cases to the reading physician
Assist with invasive procedures
Document appropriately in the ultrasound reporting system as well as in the electronic medical record
Assist co-workers when needed
Re-stock supplies
Among other duties to assist the office
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
RDMS certified in OB/GYN
MFM experience a must
Fetal Echo registry a plus
Must be willing to be trained in Fetal Echo and sit for the exam
NT Certification a plus but not necessary.
Comfortable in a fast pace environment
Must have good communication skills
Must be able to work independently
