Job description

Award-winning law firm seeks Litigation Defense Associate! You will handle a diverse caseload of insurance defense matters as an Associate Attorney. In this role, you'll develop and execute legal strategies, conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and appear in court proceedings for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for professional growth.

Must have at least 3 year of litigation experience to be considered.

Desired Background:


  • 4-10 years of experience in any of the following litigation areas: employment litigation, medical malpractice defense, toxic tort, professional liability, product liability, commercial litigation, general liability and/or trucking/transportation liability
  • Licensed to practice in Tennessee
  • Trial experience strongly preferred
  • Handle depositions, discovery, motions, and pleadings independently from inception to resolution
  • Drive to bring in new clients
  • Have an enthusiastic positive approach and be a team player
  • Exceptional writing skills, strong work ethic, and excellent research skills
