Job Summary:
Performs diagnostic imaging services in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.

We are seeking Radiologic Technologists to join our Radiology team!

Full time and PRN positions with various shifts available.
Shift differentials available.
Locations include:
Vanderbilt Hospital
Children's Hospital
One Hundred Oaks
Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital
Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital
Franklin Walk-In Clinic.
Positions include diagnostic imaging for inpatient, outpatient, ED and OR.
No weekends, holidays or on call for clinic positions.
The sign-on bonus is not applicable to current VUMC staff or former staff who have worked for VUMC in the past twelve months. The sign-on bonus is only available for full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities
Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective imaging.
Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
Provides appropriate screening process to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.

Required Qualifications
Less than 1 year of relevant experience.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Licensure.
Consideration may be given to candidates that can obtain license/certification within 6 months in accordance with state guidelines.
Technical Capabilities
Diagnostic Equipment (Fundamental Awareness): Has training, direct exposure, limited experience, or past experience working with equipment diagnostic tools. Able to resolve simple equipment problems.
Compliance (Fundamental Awareness): Demonstrates and basic knowledge of the core rules, regulations, instructions and guidelines as they apply to assignments. Knows who to go to for further explanation and support. Understands which bodies regulate the industry.
Patient Documentation (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience, training, direct exposure, or past experience working with patient documentation.
