Routing Coordinator

Join our team as a Routing Coordinator, where you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our logistics operations. As the key architect of efficient route planning, you will ensure timely service to enhance customer satisfaction. Your expertise will drive our commitment to excellence in exceeding customer expectations!

This is a full-time hourly position, with an hourly rate of $19 - $25 depending on experience. Our work weeks are based on a 40-hour schedule (5 x 8-hour days) with the possibility of overtime during busier seasons.

Job Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule the daily routing of technicians to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Analyze and optimize routing plans to minimize costs and improve service levels.
- Communicate with management to resolve any routing issues or delays.
- Maintain accurate records of routing schedules and changes, and communicate to the leadership team daily.
- Utilize routing software and tools to streamline the routing process and improve accuracy.
- Evaluate and report on routing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing strategies to enhance routing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and support to new team members on routing procedures and best practices.

Job Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of routing software and GPS systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Reliable transporation to and from work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional evenings, and weekends if required.
