Job Summary:
Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital (VTHH) Rehabilitation Services is seeking to add an inpatient Physical Therapist PRN to the team!
The Rehabilitation Services at VTHH provides care for all hospital inpatient units and provides outpatient clinic services in an adjacent outpatient center. PTs provide evaluation, management, preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function, impaired or threatened by disease, injury, or disability. Inpatient therapy services include orthopedic and neuro related therapies. Our outpatient therapy program includes specialties in pelvic, vestibular and lymphedema rehabilitation. VTHH nurtures an environment of learning and advancement in therapy skills. Rehabilitation Services performance improvement efforts are focused on achieving excellence in service and quality, while also achieving greater efficiency. The Epic electronic medical record system is used for documentation of care.

Key Responsibilities:
Contributes effectively to designated team(s), Hospital goals and performance improvement activities in order to achieve Hospital mission
Provides for a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers
Demonstrates competency in evaluation of all areas that PT is responsible for in an accurate and timely manner
Demonstrates safe and effective treatment/ management of performance areas with all assigned patients
Demonstrates effective and safe use of the following treatment strategies
Demonstrates safe and appropriate usage of treatment equipment
Consistently communicates to PTA and other clinicians involved in the patient care
Consistently communicates with other outside entities directly involved with patient outcomes
Completes all necessary documentation completely, accurately, and on a timely basis
Demonstrates the ability to efficiently complete all scheduling tasks
Consistently completes billing both timely and accurately
Demonstrates the ability to provide coverage in inpatient or outpatient therapy
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Active and unrestricted Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of TN, or a compact license or eligible to obtain, required
Basic Life Support/CPR
Ability to work weekdays and/or weekends to provide coverage, required
