Job description

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trust Compliance Specialist with deep expertise in personal and institutional trust. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all legal, regulatory, and fiduciary requirements are met. As a member of the Risk team, which also covers security, BSA, ERM, AML, and fraud compliance, you will assess and ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and fiduciary agreements. Your responsibilities will include evaluating trust policies and procedures, recommending improvements, and participating in trust examinations and audits.

Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience in trust operations or administration.
A deep understanding of personal trust regulatory compliance.
Experience with researching, analyzing, and applying trust laws.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with managers and senior management.
CFIRS designation is preferred; support for certification classes provided.

Why is This a Great Opportunity
The Risk Team works hard but also believes in having fun and fostering a supportive environment. Education is a top priority for them, and they encourage all their team members to pursue professional certifications. Our client supports their people in every aspect.

They pride themselves on being a family-oriented organization, and during the interview process, they encourage candidates and their families to experience their community firsthand. Many of their team members have transitioned from larger organizations and found a strong sense of belonging with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, including Puerto Rico, New York, and Virginia.
