The Lease Administrator will be responsible for working closely with the Real Estate department, Corporate Operations Team and third-party Real Estate Firms to provide information and administrative support for managing and coordinating all aspects of lease administration. This role involves ensuring that lease agreements are accurately documented and maintained, and that all parties involved comply with the terms of the lease.

Responsibilities:
Distributes lease documents to internal and external contacts.

Drafts lease amendments, notice letters (renewals and closures), and Letters of Intent, as
needed.

Prepares lease packages and receives proper signatures on the packages.

Prepares TI packages for submission to applicable Landlords

Tracks and distributes closure, relocation, start-up task plans to operations, real estate,
accounting, and closeout contacts.

Reviews SNDA/Estoppel documents for accuracy of information; work with legal to approve
language and return to LL within required timeframe.

Tracks completed lease transactions on a monthly basis. Distributes all necessary information to AM and SS for saving report/abstracting purposes.

Maintains FMV/Referral source spreadsheet to ensure compliance.

Maintains contract list. Distributes new or renewal lease agreements as needed.

Coordinates and distributes Estoppels.

Qualifications:
Education/Credentials:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience.

In lieu of higher education, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice-versa.

Job Related Experience:

Customarily has at least 4 years of related experience in commercial real estate lease administration, preferably within an office or retail leasing environment

Experience with lease database software is highly preferred

Strong knowledge of commercial real estate documents and the leasing process with an ability to
apply this understanding in performing job responsibilities

High customer service orientation with demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working
relationships with key customers

Provide a high level of attention to detail for reliable accuracy

Must consistently demonstrate excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, and analytical skills

Knowledge and understanding of the basic accounting and finance principles and familiarity with
their applications flow and impact with respect to real estate analysis

Proficiency in PC based software, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with the ability to accurately develop various types of logical reports

Exceptional interpersonal skills, positive attitude, friendly, helpful and responsive

Ability to multi-task, delegate, prioritize, finalize projects and resolve lease disputes
