Job Summary:

This position will weigh heavy in outpatient clinical responsibilities. However, our department does provide services to acute care and skilled swing bed patients. When caring for these patients, you will be collaborating in a multidisciplinary approach with nursing, case management, and physicians.

Our growing sports medicine/orthopedic population includes middle school to college athletes with return to sport goals. Post-op shoulder, knees, and hips are frequent; therefore, we work closely with our orthopedic surgery team. The outpatient department also provides services to a large variety of neuro, spine, and geriatric patients. We actively support students through an aggressive clinical internship with the Sul Ross University Kinesiology program.

Our clinical focus is movement assessment and functional training across the spectrum of clinical diagnoses. It is a dynamic and fast paced growing clinic with plans for space expansion. We not only provide Rehab to Alpine, but also, our surrounding neighbors in Marfa, Ft. Davis, Marathon, Big Bend National Park, Terlingua, and Presidio.

Qualifications:

Requires a bachelors degree.
Master's degree preferred.
Certified as a physical therapist in state of practice.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
