Genesis10 is seeking a Project Manager for a contract with our client in Amarillo, TX. 40% Remote.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple projects focused on the deployment and management of network and business system devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the deployment of ICON network devices in the field and managing business system resources, particularly those located in substations. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage complex projects across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the deployment of ICON network devices for the fiber communication project.

Manage business system resources and devices located in substations.

Coordinate with the transmission team, project managers, and field technicians to ensure successful deployment and scheduling.

Communicate project statuses and updates with internal teams and external customers.

Attend project meetings, collaborating with outside plan engineers and contractors, ensuring project milestones are met.

Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior team members.

Join a collaborative team of 12 technicians and work closely with project managers and field engineers.

The position is a new headcount to replace a retiring employee and is initially slated for 12 months with a high potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment for top performers.

Qualifications:

8-10 years in project management, with a background in network management preferred.

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ProjectWise, P6 (Primavera), and ServiceNow is a plus.

Location Details:

Candidates should be local to Amarillo, TX or willing to relocate at their own expense. The position will follow a hybrid schedule, with the expectation to be in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with some flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $65.00-$95.00

We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
