Job description

The journey of each refugee child is unique and filled with challenges. At the Children's Refugee Shelter, in association with Teneo Linguistics Company, we're seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Manager to help navigate these complex pathways. Your expertise will help to bridge the gap between adversity and hope, providing support for unification and care tailored to each child's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs of each child.

Provide primary support for family unification services, aiming to identify relatives both in the U.S. and abroad, and assisting with obtaining legal guardianship when required.

Develop, implement, and review individualized case management plans.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care and services.

Maintain thorough documentation of case activities, progress, and outcomes.

Stay informed about child welfare standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.

Provide crisis intervention as needed and make appropriate referrals to community resources.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences, Human Services, Social Services or related field.

At least one year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, quality assurance, or compliance.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate complex and sensitive situations.

Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multitask.

Fluency in Spanish is highly advantageous.
