Job description

We are looking for a Full-time contractor or employee for a AWS Cloud Data Engineer role.Job Description: We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Data Engineer to join our team as either a full-time contractor or employee. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and documenting data-driven solutions. You'll leverage your programming expertise and knowledge of AWS services to create and maintain data pipelines, applications, and cloud-based infrastructures. Key Responsibilities: Plan, develop, test, and document computer programs using programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python. Design and implement data ETL pipelines using AWS Glue to meet business needs. Collaborate with users to understand current operating procedures and clarify project objectives, utilizing methodologies such as structured analysis, design, and object-oriented development. Support the development and implementation of an AWS Data Lake instance by translating program needs into technical requirements. Define and implement data governance, identity and access management (IAM) policies, and assist in managing project timelines and expenses. Regularly interface with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Develop, maintain, and optimize APIs for new data feeds and manage the AWS Amplify platform for data submissions. Implement and maintain crawlers and jobs within AWS Glue to automate data ingestion and processing. Required Skills: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, or Python programming languages. Expertise in AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and AWS S3. Knowledge of Cloud Solution Architecture. Preferred Skills: Experience with AWS Glue, AWS Amplify, AWS MQ, and AWS SQS. Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
