Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and evaluate patient safety programs and initiatives.

Lead and mentor the patient safety team to ensure effective implementation of safety protocols.

Conduct thorough investigations of safety events, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in patient safety.

Qualifications:

BSN (Required)

MSN (Preferred)

Active Texas RN License or Compact State License (Required)

Certification in Patient Safety (CPPS) (Required)

Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience in Patient Safety, Risk, and/or Quality (Required)

Recent clinical leadership experience in an acute care setting (Required)
