Overview:
Position: Home Retention Post Closing Analyst

Location: On Site - Austin, TX Location

Compensation: $22-$24.50/hr, DOE

Position Summary:

Completes final steps of the loan modification process which includes shipping final documents to the homeowner, verifying correct execution of documents, facilitating countersignature and imaging of fully executed documents, sending for recording, correcting documents rejected by the title company or county, and sending original documents to the applicable document custodian and HUD's servicer.

Responsibilities:
Ships and tracks final modification agreements to the homeowner.

Liaises with title vendor for clearing of title, recording of documents and procurement of modified title policy.

Liaises with Home Retention Analyst and/or homeowner for clearing of title.

Ensures Assignment of Mortgage to MERS is executed and recorded, if applicable.

Ensures all required documents are received and accurately completed to fulfill Loan Modification closing

Mails an executed copy to the homeowner.

Ensures recording and document deliveries follow company and investor policies.

Sends documents to title companies for re-recording to address a vendor or county rejection or correct info recorded documents.

Follows up with title vendor to obtain delayed recorded documents and modified title policies with investor timelines in mind.

Ships and tracks documents to assigned document custodian.

Ships and tracks documents to HUD's servicer within FHA's timeline.

Ensures that good business practices are promoted in a courteous, effective, efficient and timely manner.

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Desired Competencies:

Demonstrates knowledge of title reports and general recording criteria.

Demonstrates attention to detail.

Advanced ability to organize workload and appropriately prioritize to ensure investor compliance.

Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, customer service, and communication with all parties involved in the post-closing process.

Understanding of all compliance regulations and investor guidelines.

Desired Education/Experience:

High School Graduate

1-2 years' experience in this field of work is preferred.
