Job description

The Lead Instructor will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and executing training programs for technicians in relation to electric vehicle repair and maintenance. This role involves designing curriculum around vehicle safety, driver best practices, and company policies. You will also lead a team of trainers to ensure a high level of instruction and compliance with safety standards.

As they expand their U.S. presence, they are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Instructor to join the team in Austin, TX.

Description

  • Develop and implement training programs related to vehicle safety, driver performance, and company policies.
  • Oversee a team of trainers to ensure consistent and effective instruction.
  • Lead classroom and hands-on training sessions for drivers and other staff.
  • Ensure that all training materials are up-to-date and reflect the latest technological advancements in fleet management and safety.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create instructional content that enhances learning outcomes.
  • Maintain training records and provide reports on training effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements for vehicle operations.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and technologies to continuously improve training programs.

Profile

  • Proven experience in adult education or training, with a focus on safety, operations, or technology.
  • Automotive repair or technical knowledge is highly preferred.
  • Experience managing or leading a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to teach complex topics in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficient in curriculum design and instructional methods.
  • Clean driving record for at least 3 years.
  • Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the automotive or fleet management industry.
  • Familiarity with ride share or fleet technologies.
  • Spanish speaking highly preferred
