Title: Programmer III

DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

The client organization requires the services of 5 Software Developer 3 candidates, who meet the general qualifications for Software Developer 3 in Applications/Software Development, and the specifications outlined in this document.

All work products resulting from this project will be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the client organization. The selected candidates may be required to undergo criminal background checks as authorized by law. The client will not pay any fees for interviews or discussions that occur during the candidate selection process.

100% ONSITE

This position involves planning, developing, testing, and documenting computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems. The role will evaluate user requests for new or modified programs, such as financial or human resource management systems, clinical research trial results, statistical studies, or bridge design specifications. Candidates will assess feasibility, costs, timelines, compatibility with current systems, and overall system capabilities.

The Software Developer will consult with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives. They will formulate plans outlining the steps required to develop programs, using methodologies like structured analysis and design or object-oriented development.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform highly advanced senior-level computer programming work.

Write, test, debug, and document complex programs, including client/server and web-based applications using C# (.NET), MVC, and/or SQL.

Design, develop, and implement specialized programs or routines to enhance both front and back-end web-based applications using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C#.

Develop and provide web metrics and statistical reports to requestors; analyze reports to identify areas for improvement in site layout.

Provide ongoing support for applications software through diagnosis of issues and implementation of changes to maintain software at the most current version.

Perform research and analysis to develop specialized programs or routines to enhance front and back-end web-based applications using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET/C#.

Work closely with systems analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, understand technical issues, and model solutions that meet both functional and technical requirements.

Recommend improvements to processes for application development projects as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
