The Property Auditor Reinspector is responsible for actively measuring overall property claim handling focusing on our ability to execute consistently and achieve quality and operational excellence. The primary job functions are desk and field reviews and reinspections of branch to moderate complexity residential and commercial claim files in order to report and provide actionable data regarding claim file handing quality.

State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:

$73,127.00 to $(phone number removed) (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)

$66,479.00 to $(phone number removed) (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)

$59,831.00 to $(phone number removed) (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)

Responsibilities:
• Performs desk and/or field inspections of minor to moderate level complexity Property and/or Commercial claims completed by branch teams and vendors to review the handling and settlement of all aspects of the claim including accuracy of coverage decisions, loss containment, quality of file documentation, customer service, and regulatory compliance.

• Conducts desk and/or field reviews and critiques completed estimates and work product for Property claim handlers, independent adjusters, and/or outside vendors.

• Assist in coaching to Claims team members in an effective manner to improve their performance.

• Assist with Catastrophe Team efforts in varying capacity on an "as needed" basis.

• Maintain and complete accurate and timely reports for tracking claim accuracy.

• Perform ad hoc reviews of other claim files at the direction of the Property QA Supervisor on an "as needed" basis.

Qualifications:
Education:
Minimums: Associate's degree (AA, AS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
Minimum: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Property claims role, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Hold, or be able to obtain, state Property Adjuster P&C Licenses including, but not limited to, the following states: GA, OK, and TX.

Preferred: Three (3) or more years of experience in a Property Claim Handler role of elevated skill set capable of resolving larger-value structure claims, including represented and/or complex losses.

Skills & Abilities:

Minimum:

Working knowledge of ISO form policy provisions and coverage interpretations, property damage assessment and estimate creation, general reconstruction, and general First Party Property claim handling procedures.

Able to evaluate the appropriateness of actions taken by claim handlers in resolving their respective claims.

Ability to maintain objectivity and consistency in evaluating claims files.

Requires critical attention to detail and good organizational skills with strong technical and analytical ability to make complex, accurate assessments of damage and reparability.

Ability to perform field property inspections. Position may include use of a Company vehicle. If applicable, incumbent must meet and maintain established Company standards for operation of a Company car.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate professionally at all levels internally and externally.
Analytical ability necessary to analyze and evaluate relevant information essential in resolving property claims.

Preferred:

Good working knowledge of Xactimate estimating system.

Competence with Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Access.

Good working knowledge of First Party Property industry practices with regard to regulatory compliance, construction trade methodology, common loss types, and claim settlement processes.
