Summary/Objective
The Billing and Collections Accountant is responsible for preparing and recording assets, liability, revenue, and expensing entries by compiling and analyzing account information. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.

Essential Functions
- Generate accounts receivable invoices and prepare for mailing.
- Responsible for all billing and accounts receivable related accounting duties including account reconciliations, corporate and other reporting requirements.
- Maintain billing files and customer database.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepares monthly statements and correspondence as needed.
- Complies with all of Pipe View America's policies and procedures.
- Assists with Financial and Regulatory Audits.
- Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
- Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Assist performing secretarial functions such as: typing proposals, reports, and customer correspondences, prepare work orders, service requests and estimate requests.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree preferred.
- 5 to 7 years of accounts receivable experience is preferred.
- Experience in collections, customer service and office management.
- Proficiency with software such as QuickBooks required. NetSuite preferred.
- High level of proficiency using MS Excel and the MS Office suite is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is required.
- Highly organized and ability to prioritize multiple tasks is required.
- Ability to analyze data for accuracy and reasonableness is required.
- Detail oriented skill set is required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and listening and interpersonal skills are required.
- Must be able to speak, write and read in English.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred.
- Able to work independently, demonstrate good personal judgment and exercise a commitment to ethical conduct is required.
- Highly motivated and outgoing demeanor to help Pipe View, LLC move forward on its goals with an emphasis on cross-departmental cooperation is required.

- Experience with Paylocity Payroll a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Pipe View America has a no tolerance for drug use policy.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This role requires the individual to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately. This role requires the individual to make substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers often. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; and/or extensive reading.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the core work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 37.5 hours each week to maintain full time status. Employees need to be able to work extended hours due to business needs.
