Supervisor - Field Services -Position Summary

As EGW's Supervisor - Field Services the successful candidate will be responsible to coordinate people and processes to ensure EGW projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. The Supervisor will be the point of contact for internal and external customers and will be expected to be abreast of all facets involving a project's status and timeline.

A Supervisor's responsibility to collaborate with the Project Manager - Field Services and the Manager- Services, to develop detailed project plans, utilizing EGW's Project Planning Process to ensure resource availability, allocation, and the delivery of every project within budget and scope on time, every time. Communicating with appropriate parties and following through on key issues is a must.

The Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, coordination, communication, and management of assigned technicians in EGW's field-based service operations in cooperation with the Project Manager - Field Services.

Areas of responsibility, include, safety and regulatory compliance, staffing, coordination of training, employee development, scheduling, process development & improvement. Other duties include, but are not limited to, enforcing company standards and procedures, and managing technicians. This information must be communicated with the organization and followed up with technicians to assure compliance.

The Supervisor must develop successful working relationships with the clients and all stakeholders. Developing positive, engaged, client relationships are a must. Communication and follow up with the EGW's Manager - Service Sales and the appropriate Sales Territory Manager is critical.

Field Services Project Manager Responsibility

This role oversees technicians whether they be EGW employees or contractors/temporaries. Supervisory responsibilities include, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, directing work, managing absenteeism, and timecard approval; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The Supervisor will not only manage current projects with various clients, but will also assist the Service Delivery Team to develop and provide proposals to prospective clients providing new opportunities for EGW.The Supervisor's role in this process is to assess the client's expectations and EGW's capabilities based on EGW resources, costs, coordination, equipment, and qualifications of technicians, etc., and to provide input on proposals to best assure results in obtaining new projects and therefore revenue for the Field Services Department.

The Supervisor will perform quality control on EGW service projects.

Document, monitor and continually improve departmental processes and procedures. Ensure employees/contractors maintain the proper tools and supplies to perform their respective job functions.

The Supervisor is responsible for managing EGW's owned and leased fleet vehicles including maintaining fleet database and onboard camera database, accident reporting, insurance claims, maintenance, registrations, etc.

The Supervisor will also have responsibilities for invoice clients for work performed. The invoicing process must meet each client's requirements and must be accurately and timely.

Client weekly meetings are held via TEAMS. The Supervisor will be responsible for hosting these meeting and provide a pre-meeting agenda to the clients appropriate EGW personnel.

EGW Service Delivery Department is responsible for part of a warehouse attached to the 1406 Field Services Building. It is the responsibility of the Supervisor to assure that warehouse space is clean and organized and the inventory is maintained and orderly.

Additionally, the Supervisor is responsible for planning, budgeting, purchasing, inventorying, tools and equipment and personal protective equipment required by Field Services personnel. The cost of the items must be managed to the annual budget.

The Supervisor builds and maintains strong working relationships with their team and their management team. The Supervisor will help solve problems, make connections, and serve others in this role. They assist team members and their manager to improve and/or maintain "superior customer service." Additionally, they work closely with the Field Service department to promote and inspire "Extra Mile" thinking and performance, companywide. The Field Service Project Manager possess, character, professionalism, humility, and morality with a focus on service and support.
