Provide strategies for handling sensitive data, especially customer and financial information, ensuring high levels of security and privacy.

Regulatory Compliance and Security:

Ensure that all solutions comply with relevant insurance regulations, industry standards, and data privacy laws.
Design security architectures that safeguard sensitive insurance data, including customer information, financial transactions, and claims data.
Incorporate audit and compliance requirements into the architecture to ensure adherence to industry and governmental standards.

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and insurance experts to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Collaborate with global and local development teams to ensure architectural integrity and alignment with the overall business strategy.
Provide technical leadership across the project lifecycle, from inception through delivery.

Performance Optimization:

Design systems that are highly performant, available, and scalable to handle large volumes of transactions typical in insurance operations.
Implement monitoring and performance tuning strategies to ensure systems are operating at optimal efficiency.

Project Management:

Provide leadership in project planning and execution, ensuring that architectural goals are met within the given timelines.
Act as a key decision-maker for technical challenges that arise during the course of projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Manage architectural risk, identifying and mitigating potential issues that could impact the scalability, performance, or security of the system.

Documentation & Communication:

Create and maintain clear documentation of architectural blueprints, technical designs, and decision-making processes.
Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders, including business leaders and insurance experts.
Train and mentor development teams on architectural best practices and new technologies.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Education:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or other relevant architecture certifications are a plus.

Experience:

8+ years of experience in software development and architecture design, with at least 5 years in the insurance domain.
