Community Association Manager

Position Summary
We are looking for an individual who resides fairly close to our office, has reliable transportation, wants to work, is motivated to advance, and would like to maintain long-term employment with our company. This position oversees a small portfolio while offering support to our Perception team. Responsibilities will include working with association managers and VCM leadership to help create each community's vision. A successful candidate must have a commitment to exceptional customer service and quality control. Great written and oral communications skills is required. Also required are great organizational skills and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be able to juggle multiple concurrent projects at any given time. Previous HOA experience is preferred. This is a salaried position with additional income for attendance at the required Perception events.
Position Responsibilities - Management
At all times, demonstrate and promote the mission, values and culture of VCM, Inc.
Exhibit exceptional customer service with homeowners and Boards - adhering to our 24-hour response time
Manage the day-to-day for a portfolio of 8-12 communities
Plan, coordinate, and run Board and Annual Meetings
Maintain community meeting calendar
Coordinate community-wide communications, eblast, and mailings
Complete inspection drives & enforce community restrictions
Attend occasional night meetings and community events if requested by the Board
Coordination with vendors to ensure contract fulfillment, e.g., landscape, masonry, fence, pool maintenance, etc.
Maintain positive relationship with homeowners with timely responses and proactive communication
Assist Regional Vice President, Assistant Regional Vice President, and other Community Association Managers as required
Plus other work related tasks as needed

Excellent interpersonal skills. You will have to manage a wide range of personalities with a wide range of opinions, both over the phone and in person. You should be a friendly, outgoing person who can represent the company well in all situations.
Excellent writing skills. Our customers require thoughtful, concise, timely responses to their concerns. Much of this communication occurs over e-mail.
Excellent technology skills. Most of your day will be spent managing data utilizing our proprietary software. You should be comfortable using and learning technology software which allows you to access Owner / Residential portals, Management / Board portals, Closing portals, Attorney Portals, and Vendor portals all from one landing page.
Flexibility and humility. We approach our business with the mentality the we are here to serve. That means that you need to be willing and able to do what is necessary to please your clients, whatever that may be. You should be comfortable and willing to pitch in and do whatever needs to be done.
Excellent organizational skills. You will be working with hundreds of owners divided among a portfolio of properties. We have established excellent, efficient systems to facilitate this work, but you need to have strong organizational skills and be attentive to detail to use the systems effectively.
The ability to work independently. Because this is a growing business, you need to be comfortable working alone or independently at times. We will provide training and set goals, provide the technology and systems for you to achieve those goals. You will be empowered to make decisions and will be held accountable for your decisions.

Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year managing Homeowner Associations (HOAs) required.
Associate or higher degree highly preferred
CAI designation(s) strongly preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Pay and Benefits:
$60,000 to $70,000, depending on education and experience.
PLUS $2000 sign on bonus
