We have a current openings for Junior Estimators, in the following locations:

Dallas, TX

The Junior Estimator will be an add to our Infrastructure Group, focusing on Airfield, Civil, Underground, etc. As an essential part of the bidding process; they assist with cost estimates and resource requirements for electrical construction projects.

Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

Focus on the takeoff process for estimates/bids

Assist with analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, etc., to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for projects

Calculate various data quantity take-offs for data entry into computer estimating system

Participate in preparing and organizing bid packages

Assist with Requests for Proposals (RFPs) & Requests for Information (RFIs)

Assist with "hand off" to project management team after project is awarded

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other closely related field

or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or related experience with an electrical contractor or similar

1-3 years of electrical/construction estimating, project assistant/management, or construction management experience

Strong verbal and written communication

Strong attention to detail

Ability to read and understand construction documents

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and changing priorities

Salary Range:

$22.00/hour - $27.00/hour

This is a non-exempt position
