Job Summary

The Manager, Reporting & Tooling will work close with the Director, Office of CIO and other Technology executives to enhance, and maintain reporting and delivery tool functions including (but not limited to) operating system maintenance, data catalogue process, new report intake, and other related activities. The core objective is to ensure a consistent, transparent, and efficient approach to how Technology operates.

Responsibilities include leading all (1) reporting activities across the Technology department and (2) administrating key Technology Management tools.

Reporting includes agile metrics, corporate shared services KPI's (security, service desk, system availability, system performance, etc.), budget, and project governance / backlogs / delivery. Tooling support is focused on Jira and Quickbase (low code PPM). Tool support activities include, but are not limited to, requirements gathering, data validation, financial analytics, strategy, process optimization, process improvement, issues resolution, system configuration, user permissions, coordinating with teams across technology, coordinating with stakeholders across Invitation Homes, and related tasks as assigned. As the reporting and platform admin, this role requires a deep understand the organization's business model, how the reports and data is used in day-to-day operations, and work with functional leaders to identify opportunities to evolve, transform, and optimize both.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain reporting processes, data catalogue, report repository, and quality assurance practices

Design, implement and maintain reports, dashboards, and related support documents

Coordinate with data owners for insight and data validation where additional inputs are needed

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand the data, and establish timeline

Conduct data validation and quality check to ensure the integrity and accuracy of reported information

Present reporting to management monthly, and relevant teams, effectively communicating insights, and trends

Lead the quarterly effort to create reports and slides for the Board and Executive Committee

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to optimize reporting

Held Technology develop a culture of data centric decision making

Manager the administration and maintenance of delivery systems, including configuration updates, plugins, and user access

Conduct regular backups of critical data to minimize potential data loss and system downtime.

When issues emerge, identify root causes and work with stakeholders to drive efficient resolution

Develop and manage relationships across the business to achieve key business, organizational and cross-cultural objectives.

As needed perform project manager, program manager and change management roles

Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

3+ years in Reporting and Analytics

2+ years in Technology or similar department

Skills/Specialized Knowledge

Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Ability to interact effectively and gain credibility with internal associates at all levels

Demonstrated analytical, financial, problem solving, organization, and project management skills

Strong technical and analytical skills to collect, store and the present data in a digestible manner

Strong analytics skills with experience in data visualization, and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI

Experience using Snowflake and AWS as data repository

Experience as a JIRA admin or power user

Experience with QuickBase or other low code platforms is preferred

Experience with PPM tools such as Asana, Smartsheet, (url removed), Planview etc. is preferred

Advanced in MS office; Focus on Excel and PowerPoint

Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, proactive and innovative

Strong presentation and communication skills, including verbal, and written

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking

Proven judgment and ability to manage sensitive data

Experience developing skills in others, serve as a mentor to junior team members

Willing to learn new technologies, methodologies and practices

Required Licenses or Certifications

N/A

Preferred Licenses or Certifications

PMP, CCBA, or CBAP Certification

Experience or certification to demonstrate agile methodologies (CSM, CPO, SAFe, etc)

Other Requirements

Must maintain professional appearance.

Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.

Travel may be required, up to 10%

This position will involve long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. Salary Range
