Job description
Overview:
This position serves a key role in administration of our various programs, which includes new set ups, changes, terminations, novations, commutations and trusts. The position interacts frequently with clients in providing excellent customer service/support for the programs.
The Reinsurance and Partner Structures team oversees the following types of programs:
Reinsurance
Captives
DOWC/DOOC
Cell Structures
Profit Share
FTP/XOL
Responsibilities:
Ensures accurate and timely completion all legal documents (agreements, amendments, trusts, notices, letters, checklists, etc.). This includes determining appropriate document type, making necessary changes, coordinating with clients and with other internal/external parties, as well as obtaining necessary approvals and signatures.
Gathers, reviews and maintains all corporate documents and other required documentation for all partner structures.
Maintains all documentation in department's document storage tool, ensuring consistent and proper naming of files in correct folders, as well as AMP's retrieval of documents.
Provides status reports, follow up communications and updates to workflow tool (Salesforce).
Reviews items for completeness and accuracy.
Prepares and updates contract matrices for all partner structures.
Coordinates with Legal team for changes to legal documents and for new legal documents.
Inputs into system maintenance screens to set up and maintain with accurate information.
Obtains proper authorizations and entitles users appropriate access to system; also provides client support for AMP issues, conducting research to determine how to resolve.
Provides accurate and timely responses to client requests.
Maintains a thorough understanding of the business and related documents.
Performs other functionally related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
3 or more years' experience in legal, insurance or related field
Must have strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure efficiently, with high quality results
Self-starter, motivator and able to work autonomously
Ability to read and interpret legal documents
Very proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong problem analysis/resolution skills, along with the ability to identify when urgent action or escalation is required
Excellent organizational skills
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
