Job description
Title: Salesforce Chief Technical Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite, Hybrid), NY/NJ (onsite, hybrid), Charlotte, NC (Onsite, Hybrid)
An ideal candidate for this role is someone who has deep understanding of the Salesforce Sales and Service platform and is preferably hands on the platform implementation. The candidate is a very strong communicator who can manage client expectations, guide the client on what are the best practices for implementing the Salesforce platform and solution / drive the implementation of the platform from a technology, feature function and rollout standpoint. Is connected with the Salesforce ecosystem and passionate about continuously upgrading the knowledge on newer Salesforce features, to best enable the clients.
This role will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of Salesforce technologies ensuring alignment with business objectives and maximizing the value of our Salesforce investment for financial services customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Expert level understanding of various components of the Salesforce product suite such as Sales Service Community Marketing and App Clouds Expertise and experience with FSC including configuration of the FSC Platform
Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce com platform.
Lead technical design sessions architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives identify gaps between client s current and desired end states.
Manage the technical delivery of custom development integrations and data migration elements of a Salesforce com implementation.
Technical Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive technical strategy for Salesforce platform encompassing architecture design development integration and maintenance.
Solution Architecture: Design scalable and flexible Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements, ensure security, and adhere to best practices for platform optimization.
Platform Optimization: Continuously optimize the Salesforce platform to improve performance usability and user experience Innovation.
Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging Salesforce technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership guidance and mentorship to the Salesforce technical team fostering a culture of collaboration excellence and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders including business leaders IT teams and external partners to understand requirements prioritize initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Establish and enforce governance policies standards and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
Overall IT and consulting experience of 12+ years and extensive experience of 10+ years implementing Salesforce platforms from design, development, implementation and platform administration
8+ years of experience solid experience in Java or C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and integration experience
Proficiency in web services (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML) and other technologies for data transport
Familiarity with security standards such as TLS, SSL, and data encryption.
Expertise in Salesforce Integration Patterns and best practices using Apex and Visualforce.
Understanding of data architecture and ability to see how to customize the Salesforce data model to support business needs while keeping the platform more configuration vs customization
Proven track record of successfully leading large scale Salesforce initiatives from concept to delivery.
Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture capabilities and ecosystem including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Community Cloud and preferably Marketing
Strong personal, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering innovative solutions that drive business value.
Salesforce Developer and Architect Certifications (e.g., SFDC, DEV501, ADM201)
