The Selling Branch Manager will spend 60%-70% of their time selling and growing the business. The rest of their functions will include managing the recruiting function, and stepping in to assist with recruiting efforts as needed, running red zones, coordinate with team members on what the jobs are, needs are and where their focus should be that day.



Responsibilities:



  • Largely growing billing clients and opening up other parts of the DFW market through cold calling then handing off to the Account Executive.

  • Selling responsibilities generating NEW customers AND growing active/billing customers throughout the DFW market.


  • Relationship building of prospects and existing customers.




  • Driving sales through individual sales efforts and through account executives.




  • Remove roadblocks for sales and recruiting team to be successful.




  • Management of staff of 3 increasing to 5 in the next 6-12 months.




  • Use data from the CRM (Ultra Staff) to determine fill/fall off rates, ensuring activities/KPIs are achieved within CRM, trusting the CRM, and recruiting platform.




  • Manage time efficiencies and time management of the team.




  • Strong communication skills, communicate to the employees and provide direction as needed.




  • Understand and hold recruiters accountable; able to jump in with a recruiting hat if someone is out/recruitment team needs assistance.



  • Will be trained on recruiting and processes.


  • Ensure positions are being filled timely and with the most qualified skilled trades talent.




  • Will spend 60% of their time in a business development function generating new business and growing existing business.




  • 30% of the time will be spent managing recruiting functions, leading team meetings, and overall management of the branch.




  • 10% of the time will be spent handling administrative tasks, compliance, training, developing, managing the team, and conducting 1 on 1s.





Qualifications:



  • 3-5 years of staffing industry experience, in blue collar agency setting.


  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and communications skills.




  • Strong sales, operations, and management background within an agency environment.




  • Experience selling commercial construction staffing solutions is a plus though not required.



  • MUST have experience selling, leading, and growing a market within the light industrial, skilled trades, or blue-collar industries.


  • Strong relationship building skills and knows how to keep sales/recruitment processes moving forward.




  • No P & L responsibilities.
