In this role, you will research, define, analyze, develop, design, perform wind tunnel testing and data reduction, test and verify Aerodynamics. Support integration and flight test activities. Ensure program objectives are accomplished through troubleshooting and system subject matter expertise to assist in maintenance and delivery of effective technical data. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of aeronautical engineering, model-based design software, MATLAB. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree from an accredited college in Aeronautical Engineering • Needs a good understanding (coursework or related research) in aerodynamics, compressible flow, and boundary layers - MATLAB and CATIA experience Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Looking for someone that is inquisitive and is willing to try new concepts/designs
• Needs a curiosity to dig into the details of the flowfield to try and understand what is going on and provide options for design changes • Course in turbulence would be a plus
• Experience with a CAD tool is a plus

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
