Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you will , consult and be responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities; provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle, MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production. The successful candidate can expect to thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working in a production environment with operators, be self-motivated, take initiative, and have strong work ethic, and have a learning and continuous improvement attitude Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology, Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering Technology • Desire to obtain an Operations role indicated by expressing interest in 'hands-on' applications of engineering and manufacturing principles Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
• Member of the SME, SAE, ASME, or other similar technical organization
• Design, build club/project experience (i.e., SAE Formula and Baja)
• Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
• Previous manufacturing/operations experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
