Dialysis Patient Population:?Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, Acute and Chronic Kidney Injury, Managing LVAD patients during Dialysis, Managing Complex Medical and Surgical patients during Dialysis. Patient Ratios: 1:1-4 Depending on Acuity Number of Beds: 11 beds Department Specifics:?72% BSN rate, 24% certification rate, 24/7 coverage with night nurse and on-call, diverse staff population with experience ranging from Novice to 20+ years of experience combined. Registered Nurse Requirements Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program Experience: MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF DIALYSIS EXPERIENCELicense/Certification: RN Registered Nurse BLS Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) Successful EKG Competency validation (within 30 days of hire) Description for Job Board:RN - Dialysis. Minimum 2 years of experience required. BLS, ACLS - AHA. Records patients medical information and vital signs. Readies dialysis equipment. Oversees the dialysis treatment from start to finish.
