Job Overview:

Thank you for taking the time to consider this position! We are currently seeking a Director of Operations to lead and optimize our industrial machinery manufacturing operations across three locations, focusing on performance metrics, productivity improvements, and the development of a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of management experience in a performance-based system and a track record of driving continuous process improvements. This is a leadership role responsible for assessing current processes, developing a future-state vision, and executing the plans necessary to achieve superior operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performance Metrics & Oversight: Establish and maintain measurable performance metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost across all manufacturing activities.


  • Process Improvement & Optimization: Ensure that performance improvement and recovery plans are developed, issued, tracked, and reported as needed to enhance manufacturing operations.


  • Culture Development: Cultivate and maintain a high-performance culture within the organization, resulting in continuous success in meeting functional KPIs and improving customer service levels.


  • Inventory & Material Flow Management: Manage material flow to ensure that inventory levels are optimized and maintained efficiently.


  • Kaizen & Savings Initiatives: Lead and manage Kaizen initiatives to align with profit plans and overall business objectives.


  • Ethical Standards: Set and uphold the highest ethical standards for yourself and your team.


  • Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned to support the overall operations.



Qualifications
:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or Engineering required; MBA is a plus.


  • Experience: 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on performance and behavioral grading systems.


  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication and PC-based communication tools proficiency.


  • Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated strong project management skills.


  • Lean & Six Sigma: Lean Certified or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.



Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $130,000 to $150,000 (negotiable based on experience)


  • Bonus: 20% bonus target based on performance


  • Benefits Package: Full benefits including insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and more.
