Cost Estimation Grand Prairie, TX Contract Position $67.40-$72.40/Hour Join a facility renowned for its missile systems and fire control projects, delivering some of the most advanced weapons systems in the world. Responsibilities: Develop and analyze life cycle cost models, perform cost data analytics, and forecast costs and schedules to support engineering and decision-making processes.
Collect and normalize data, analyze multiple datasets, build engineering models, and communicate findings to engineering teams and internal stakeholders.
Conduct decision analysis, ensuring cost models align with program requirements and strategic goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Math, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field.
Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance Required
5+ years of experience in cost model development, data analytics, defense industry engineering, or finance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and navigating technical and cost data.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to an executive audience and experience in data visualization.
Desired Skills:
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or background in engineering.
Experience with Python, VBA, MS SQL, Tableau, or similar tools.
Knowledge of financial systems, statistics, or data management systems.
Experience in proposal development, government acquisition processes, or cost engineering.
Familiarity with cost models, predictive analytics, and decision analysis techniques.
Experience with Capture, Position To Win, or O&S cost analysis.
