TITLE: Cyber Systems Security Engineer with Active Secret security clearance (US Citizenship REQUIRED) LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX 75050 (No relocation package)-Must be within commuting distance DURATION: 12+ months CLEARANCE: Active Secret Security Clearance MAX RATE: $59.42/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract) No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED GENERAL INFORMATION We are looking for an individual that is familiar with performing Cybersecurity on systems via the implementation of relevant security controls. Seeking a Cyber Systems Security Engineer who will be responsible for identification and analysis of the cyber-attack surfaces and will implement the relevant cybersecurity controls. The individual will be responsible for performing cybersecurity maintenance, to include continuous monitoring, security updates, patching, and hardening. The engineer will also be responsible for providing cybersecurity oversight our Systems and Software teams and providing the necessary documentation and artifacts to support and maintain any client products. Other responsibilities can include:
• Providing embedded System Security Engineering design and implementation in all aspects of System Security Engineering (SSE) process in development of Department of Defense (DoD) Weapon Systems
• Assessing and mitigating System Security threats/risks throughout the embedded Weapon System development life cycle
• Validating System Security Engineering requirements decomposition, allocation and analysis for Test Systems
• Implementing System Security Engineering solutions hardware and software
• Verifying implementation of system security requirements
• Analyzing weaknesses, vulnerabilities and threats against System Security posture on product designs REQUIREMENTS: Cybersecurity Systems Security Systems Analysis & Design Familiarity with STIGs and System Hardening Familiarity with Cyber tools such as Ansible, SCC, Nessus/ACAS Information Security Security Systems Analysis and Design Skills BS+3-5 YRS or MS+0-3 YRS DESIRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 Years of Cybersecurity Engineering experience 3-5 Years of Systems Engineering experience Systems Development SOP/Process Creation Embedded Systems Systems Development Systems Infrastructure Engineering Design Principles Software Engineering If you would like to interview for this position, please send an updated WORD version of your resume to Dee Smith, Dee Smith Sr. Technical Recruiter Rates listed are not a guarantee of salary/rate.
