The VP/SVP of Operations will ensure all operational activities align with the bank's strategic goals, maintain compliance, and enhance overall operational efficiency. The VP/SVP of Operations is responsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:

Compliance/BSA - Coordinate Compliance/BSA program with outsourced Compliance Officer, ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures.

Information Technology - Coordinate IT program with outsourced Information Technology Officer and Managed Service Provider

Day-to-day Operations - Support the bank's day-to-day operations (Deposit Ops and Retail).

Audit Management - Coordinate the bank's outsourced audit program, including scheduling and uploading request items.

Vendor Management - Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Reporting and Analysis - Provide regular reports to executive management on operational performance, key metrics, and strategic initiatives. Compile ad hoc reporting at executive management's request.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.

Minimum of seven years of experience in banking operations at a community bank.

Knowledge of banking laws and regulations, as well as bank products and services.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
