Job Description: Government Certification Facility Manager / Computer Support Admin (CSA) Essential Functions: Interfaces with supervisor, customer, Project Engineering, and Program Management to determine Government Certification Facility (GCF) support requirements, delivery schedules, and software matrices.
Monitors GCF schedules and ongoing test/integration activities and provides technical support, troubleshooting and repair or replacement of defective equipment.
Starts up all GCF equipment and loads all Ground System software in an orderly fashion; shuts down in the same manner to reconfigure the GCF or close-down as required. Candidate must be willing and able to work a flexible job schedule to include off-shift or weekend work and occasional overtime.
Works with management to develop and adhere to schedules and budgets to accomplish assigned tasks. Provides regular status updates for ongoing work efforts to keep management and our customer informed.
Assists in planning periodic GCF upgrades to new wiring and equipment configurations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with 4 to 6 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Experience with classified media handling, marking, and control.
Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. Physical Requirements: Some lifting required.
Preferred Additional Skills: Candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to create and maintain strong working relationships within the company and with customers. Possessing knowledge, skills and abilities sufficient to install, modify, fabricate, and repair RF/LAN/Control interconnect harnesses.
Military or Field Service experience maintaining ISR airborne platforms or ground systems is highly desirable. Employee will be required to maintain and/or obtain CompTIA Security+ certification within a year.
Knowledge and experience with mission support systems or equivalent ISR platforms.
Programming experience with Linux shell scripting, PHP, Perl, Java and HTML.
Knowledge and experience with Local Area Network configurations.
Familiarity with or certifications in LINUX and UNIX-based operating systems.
