Qualifications
1. Completing a nurse assistant course that meets state requirements
2. Passing the respective state’s competency exam and obtaining a certification or license—if applicable
3. Valid license for a minimum of 1 year
4. Eligible to work in the USA
5. No felony convictions

Responsibilities
1. A nursing assistant working through Thusa provides basic care and helps patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of a licensed nurse at a customer’s facility
2. CNA’s work in a variety of nursing and residential care facilities, SNF’s, ALF’s, Memory Care Units, and more
3. Flexible in duties from one work setting to another, the following are typical responsibilities of CNAs
4. Assist patients and resident with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, feeding, and walking or exercising
5. Record vital signs, height, and weight
6. Document all care provided and refused and submit paperwork
7. Maintain patient confidentiality
8. Assist nurses or physicians in the provision of care
9. Clean and sanitize patients’ clothing, rooms, bathrooms, examination rooms, or other areas, maintaining safety standards and infection control procedures
