Accounting Associate - Construction Industry

Accounting Associate Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including processing accounts payable.
• Experience with labor and expense reports
• Help with job costing by tracking project expenses, budgets, and profitability
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting for ongoing construction projects.
• Experience with manning an AP inbox with a high volume of invoices
• Code subcontractor invoices for construction
• Assisting with check runs

Accounting Associate Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in accounting within the construction and engineering industry.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with construction accounting practices, including job costing.
• Proficiency in accounting software Sage 300 and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
