Job description

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to join our team at at our Upscale Pub. The ideal candidate will assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and supporting the General Manager in various aspects of the business.

Job Duties
Support the General Manager in daily operational tasks and decision-making processes
Assist in managing staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
Oversee food service, catering operations, and food production to maintain high-quality standards
Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Help implement and maintain training and development programs for staff
Manage shifts effectively, ensuring optimal staffing levels and service quality
Contribute to team management and foster a positive work environment

Qualifications
Previous experience as an Assistant Manager in the food service industry is preferred
Strong understanding of shift management and hospitality operations
Knowledge of catering services and food production processes
Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead by example
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt to changing priorities

Experience with R365 and Toast POS backend is a plus and may result in higher compensation levels
