Position Overview:

Axionova Engineering Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work closely with laborers, contractors, and supervisors to create a collaborative and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities:

- Project Planning: Carefully review construction plans and specifications to develop detailed project schedules that promote efficient workflows and allocate resources effectively.

- Team Leadership: Supervise and manage other construction managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety on all job sites.

- Resource Management: Ensure that all necessary materials, equipment, and skilled labor are available and prepared for each phase of the project, facilitating smooth operations.

- Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations and protocols on job sites, conducting regular inspections and ensuring all workers are aware of safety practices.

- Coordination and Communication: Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and construction workers to coordinate construction tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project timelines.

- Inventory Tracking: Monitor and track inventory levels of materials and equipment, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and minimizing waste.

- Reporting: Prepare and manage comprehensive reports detailing project progress, challenges, and solutions, providing insights to stakeholders and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.

- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the construction process and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction practices meet or exceed industry standards and comply with relevant building codes and regulations.

- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have throughout the construction process, and ensuring their expectations are met.

Requirements:

- Education: A Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.

- Experience: Proven experience as a construction manager or in a similar role, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in large-scale construction projects.

- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various construction methods, practices, and technologies, as well as up-to-date knowledge of regulations and compliance standards in the construction industry.

- Leadership Skills: Must be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team, facilitating a positive and productive work environment.

- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

- Planning and Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Problem-Solving Abilities: A proactive approach to mitigating risks and resolving issues as they arise, demonstrating strategic thinking and adaptability.

Work Environment:
