Position Overview:

Our client, a rapidly expanding PE-backed company, is seeking a Controller to manage the financial operations at their Houston location. This role is critical for overseeing accounting processes, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, while supporting the company's continued growth. The Controller will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of the company and must be fully committed to working on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain strong internal controls.

Manage the month-end close process, preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reconciliations.

Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives and operational efficiency.

Collaborate with executive leadership and private equity stakeholders to align financial goals with business strategy.

Lead financial audits and continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Mentor and develop the accounting team to foster a high-performance culture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.

Proven experience as a Controller or senior financial executive, ideally in a PE-backed or high-growth company.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary ranging from $160,000 to $185,000 per year, depending on experience.

Performance-based bonuses.

Note: This position requires the candidate to be 100% on-site. Candidates must currently reside in the Houston metro area. No relocation assistance is provided.
