Location: Houston Metro Area

Travel Required: Minimal

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Position Overview:

Our client, a fast-growing PE-backed company, is seeking a Manager of FP&A to lead the financial planning and analysis function. The Manager will be responsible for driving financial forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis to support business decisions and growth initiatives. This position is perfect for a finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and values a flexible hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the FP&A function, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning.

Collaborate with department heads and executive leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations.

Analyze financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior leadership and private equity stakeholders.

Identify trends and key business drivers to optimize financial performance and drive operational efficiency.

Support M&A activity, capital planning, and other strategic initiatives.

Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Mentor and develop junior FP&A staff to foster a high-performance team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.

Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a PE-backed or high-growth company.

Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with expertise in forecasting and budgeting.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-making.

Advanced proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation and Benefits:

Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $165,000 per year, depending on experience.
