Job description

Role Overview:
The Quality Manager will lead the Quality Management System (QMS) for Process Systems, ensuring alignment of processes, procedures, and protocols for quality assurance and control. This role collaborates with internal and external teams to resolve issues and maintain operating standards, with a focus on monitoring compliance, non-conformance, and schedule adherence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage the QMS Manual, quality documents, and control processes.
  • Oversee the Quality Assurance and Quality Control of multiple major equipment product lines within the Liquefaction Units supported by an AVL of over 40 diverse suppliers including engineered equipment fabricators; instrumentation and controls; OEMs; engineering services; field services; specialty fabrication, assembly, and testing support; etc.
  • Develop and track quality performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Oversee compliance of quality standards in manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate with Production and Supply Chain teams for data collection, quality metrics, and root cause analysis of defects.
  • Lead quality initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and cultural adoption.
  • Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Factory Acceptance Testing (FATs), and audits.
  • Drive corrective and preventative actions through root cause investigations.
  • Ensure timely disposition of non-conforming materials to maintain production flow.
  • Build relationships across departments to support corporate quality system compliance and certifications.

Qualifications:
  • 10 years in quality management, preferably in modular high-tech engineering and fabrication.
  • Experience with QMS, MQPs, ITPs, and ISO9001 compliance.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma certification (Green/Black Belt preferred).
  • Strong leadership, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of managing complex projects.
  • Ability to drive results, work independently, and maintain high professional standards.
