What You'll Experience:

As a Scrap Metal Manager Trainee, you'll spend at least a year immersed in all aspects of the metal recycling industry. You'll start by getting hands-on experience in the yard, learning about our operations and processes. You'll also shadow other managers to understand the ins and outs of managing a team and running a successful business. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse team, providing guidance and support to ensure a cohesive and productive work environment.

Equipment & Logistics: Oversee equipment maintenance, plan logistics, and ensure efficient material movement.

Cost & Compliance: Optimize costs and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

What We're Looking For:

Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience is also highly valued.

Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with familiarity with safety regulations, equipment maintenance, and logistical planning.

Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

Outdoor Environment: Work in all weather conditions with exposure to noise and moving mechanical parts.

Physical Activity: Expect to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
