About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a highly skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to join our clients team. This role supports the accounting, reporting, and analysis of investment portfolios, including overseeing the monthly accounting close, financial statement review, and monitoring financial controls. The ideal candidate will be both a leader and an individual contributor, working to refine processes and drive operational efficiencies. Your Mission:

Manage accounting responsibilities within the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles.

Assist in preparing financial statements, cash reconciliations, forecasts, and budgeting.

Analyze financial and operational data to identify issues, explain variances, and propose improvements.

Oversee cash forecasts for portfolio funds and assist with quarterly valuations and accruals.

Prepare and review capital call and distribution notices for investors.

Drive the use of technology and automation to improve efficiency in financial reporting and analysis.

Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors during fund audits.

Contribute to other special projects as needed.

Core Competencies:

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Strong experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, and variance analysis.

Accounting Expertise: Proven knowledge of accounting principles, financial controls, and data accuracy.

Process Improvement & Automation: Ability to leverage technology to streamline financial processes and improve accuracy.

Collaboration & Leadership: Ability to lead and work as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.

5+ years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

Proven ability to work with large amounts of complex data and produce error-free documents.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Power BI or Alteryx experience is a plus.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
