Position Summary:
As Senior Network Architect at Empower Pharmacy, you will lead the design and implementation of resilient Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) infrastructure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, security standards, and operational excellence. Your role will drive network innovation, support scalability and reliability, and provide technical leadership on infrastructure projects, contributing to our mission of empowering healthier, happier lives through secure, cutting-edge technology solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, WLAN, and Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) infrastructure, ensuring compliance with Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 11 and network security standards.
Develops and maintains company standards for network infrastructure, including Domain Name System (DNS), Virtual Private Network (VPN), firewalls, routing, and Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN), aligning with business and security needs.
Provides technical leadership, troubleshoot complex network issues, and manage vendor relationships for network services and security tools.
Collaborates with business units and stakeholders to design scalable network solutions that support company goals, security, and business continuity.
Monitors network performance, plan long-term optimization, and manage disaster recovery and system backup processes.

Knowledge and Skills:
Strong technical leadership in a large enterprise, with working knowledge of virtualization (Virtual Machine Ware), Windows domain administration, Office 365, Azure Active Directory, Amazon Web Services network services, and various enterprise technologies such as email security and VPN.

Experience and Qualifications:
Requires a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including 8 years architecting complex routing, switching, LAN/WAN, SDWAN, and VPN, with advanced knowledge of leading technologies like Aruba, Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto. Minimum of 8 years working with network security systems (Firewall, Proxy, Secure Access Service Edge) in a multi-regional enterprise environment. Experience with Trusted Network (CFR Part 11) and healthcare, pharmacy, or hospital environments is preferred.
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business or equivalent field is required.
Proven experience with network facilities design, including IP Address Management, WiFi, and wiring for large warehouses and manufacturing plants, along with expertise in Aruba, VMware, and Fortinet technologies.
Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Network Professional, Fortinet, Certified Information Systems Security Professional, The Open Group Architecture Framework TOGAF certifications preferred.
