Job description

• Only qualified Senior Technical Architect candidates located near the Houston, TX area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Cybersecurity Architect with a strong IT and OT security background

  • Full-stack Cybersecurity knowledge is essential

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of bridging IT and OT security considerations

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing security concerns across diverse technological platforms

    Education:

  • While a formal education is valued, extensive experience and demonstrated expertise in Cybersecurity are welcome

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field is recommended

    Additional Education and Certifications:

  • Relevant Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM)

  • Additional knowledge such as TOGAF, SABSA, and IEC-62443 frameworks are considered a plus and can further enhance a candidate's suitability for the role

    The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect is vital in designing and implementing security solutions for Informational Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments. The ideal candidate would have a solid understanding of full-stack Cybersecurity and its associated technologies and experience in risk management and compliance with Cybersecurity standards.

    Senior Technical Architect Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Cybersecurity solutions architecture frameworks catering to IT and OT security requirements

  • Conduct risk assessments with an understanding of National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) frameworks, identifying vulnerabilities and devising robust mitigation strategies

  • Design and implement security solutions that protect CLIENT s IT and OT infrastructure from cyber threats

  • Collaborate with IT and OT teams to integrate Cybersecurity measures seamlessly across all technological domains

  • Provide expertise in Cybersecurity frameworks and standards, with an understanding of NIST

  • Support Cybersecurity initiatives with a comprehensive view of the IT and OT ecosystems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards

  • Stay informed on the latest Cybersecurity trends and technologies, focusing on full-stack Cybersecurity knowledge to continuously enhance CLIENT s security posture
