Job Description
Client is seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Document Management Solutions Architect to lead the implementation of a comprehensive document management system within SharePoint Premium.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of SharePoint Premium and the Power Platform, and the ability to architect, develop, and deploy robust solutions in the Microsoft 365 environment.
This person should also serve as a self-driven business analyst to determine requirements for document management and translate those into solutions for various business functions.
Responsibilities:
Project Ownership: Take ownership of SharePoint Premium implementation projects from inception to completion, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and user training.
Governance: Formalize governance policies and procedures for SharePoint Premium and Document Management to ensure consistent and compliant system use.
Integrate solutions with data governance and records retention policies, including ownership, data classification, data protection, and backup/disaster recovery requirements.
Solution Architecture: Design and architect SharePoint Premium solutions aligned with business needs, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security for document management.
Development: Develop custom SharePoint components, workflows, and integrations using the Power Platform to enhance document management capabilities.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for solutions developed, including diagrams, configurations, and explanations to facilitate understanding and future maintenance.
Data Migration: Plan and execute data migration strategies from existing systems to SharePoint Premium, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Configuration: Configure SharePoint Premium settings, permissions, and metadata structures to support efficient document management processes.
User Adoption: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions to empower users to effectively utilize the SharePoint Premium document management system.
Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SharePoint Premium-related document management issues.
Best Practices: Stay up to date with SharePoint Premium and Power Platform advancements, implementing best practices to optimize system performance and user experience in document management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience in full-cycle SharePoint implementation projects as a document management system.
Expert-level knowledge of SharePoint features and functionalities.
Strong proficiency in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) for developing integrated solutions.
Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and data governance.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and end-users.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in developing and deploying document management systems for legal business cases is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Microsoft SharePoint Premium and Power Platform.
Experience with other document management systems.
Experience with SharePoint API utilization in .NET
Understanding of industry-specific document management standards and regulations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Certification: Microsoft SharePoint Premium Certified , Power Platform Certified
