Job description

Overview:
As a Survey Technician for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work under the direct supervision of a Texas Registered Professional Licensed Surveyor (RPLS). You will perform land survey field and office work through the application of surveying principles and practices and use of modern survey equipment and software. Ultimately, this position will provide a foundation for further professional development as a land surveyor.

Qualifications:
Must have minimum two (2) year of surveying experience in the field as an instrument operator.

Must have field experience conducting various types of boundary, topographic, and control surveys.

Must be willing and able to work in the office & field as needed.

Must be willing and able to learn how to prepare field packages, post-process spatial data, create & maintain CAD drawings, and draft survey related deliverables.

Be in the process of obtaining an Associates or Bachelors in Land Surveying, Surveying Technology, Survey Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, Geospatial Engineering, or another related field preferred.

TXDOT field experience is a plus.

Construction and As-built field survey experience is a plus.

Part 107 Remote Pilot license is a plus.

Certified Survey Technician Office and/or Field certification is a plus.

Valid Driver's License.
