The Role:
Tax Assistants provide administrative support to their assigned practice groups in a manner that demonstrates the highest level of quality, accountability and teamwork.

Tax Assistants can expect to:

Assist with onboarding new clients;

Provide sales/use tax compliance support;

Provide bookkeeping support;

Support all aspects of the finance process, from billing to asset management; and

Participate in administrative duties and projects, as appropriate.

The Requirements:
The Requirements

Associates degree, or Accounting Certificate preferred;

Solid foundation in bookkeeping, accounting principles and practices (preferred);

Previous experience in sales/use tax preparation, 1099 reporting and/or account reconciliations;

Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment; and

Proficient use of technology;

Ability to work overtime as necessary.
